Vayu-class Missile Cruiser

The Vayu-class Missile Cruiser is the Core Systems Republic Navy's standard missile attack craft, and the template from which smaller and larger missile boats are designed from. In service during the Republic-Federation war, it served with distinction.

Design

Electronics

Equipped with the latest and greatest in Republic computer technology, the Vayu has the edge in almost any fight. Capable of jamming the enemy ECM, and deploying their own effective ECCM, it helps seal the deal that their missiles will do the job.

Armament

The Vayu is armed with 6 missile bays, with each bay capable of launching flights of 12 missiles in a single salvo. Newly-stationed crews often see the meaning of Vayu after watching 72 missiles streak out of the bays.
