Ramsgott-class Dreadnought
Pride of the Core Systems Republic Navy, the Arthur K. Ramsgott-class dreadnought is the heaviest ship class in the Republic Navy's arsenal. Massing in at just under five hundred thousand tons of displacement, the Ramsgott-class serves as the centerpiece of a Sector Defense Fleet's forces, often working in pairs - the fleet admiral's flagship and a 'wing' ship, often captained by the fleet admiral's second-in-command. There are twelve ships in active duty, with another three under construction at secure Republic Navy facilities throughout Core Systems space, and a fourth hull being laid at Hephaestus in Titan.
