The Penitent Brotherhood has recently issued an edict stating that the Swordcane Q-ship is no longer fit to operate alone, and has ordered the completion of a new, larger escort vessel termed the Humility-class frigate. Developed with a similar outwardly appearance to the Spartan Attican-class frigate, the Humility uses more powerful drive systems to permit it higher freedom of movement in battle but sacrifices armor to achieve this freedom. The primary difference is the addition of two conformal hangars in the belly of the craft where the Attican's large cargo bay normally sits, allowing the Humility to carry two Swordcanes in its belly hangar, which - along with the Swordcane's proposed conversion from plodding jump-capable escort to swift system defense boat - should make Penitent convoys an even more questionable prospect to attack.
