Folgender is one of the oldest colonies in Hydra Sector, founded in 2199, but due to its marginal economic output it was never afforded full member-world status in the League and the Republic has been content to let the status quo remain more or less unchanged. Folgendans are expected to serve in the armed services in wartime, but have no representation in the Hydra Sectoral Congress and have no access to assets other Republic worlds take for granted, like public CoreNet access.
